Worried about pup development & shipping

Hmmmmm... My (puppy) had he´s "fear period" at 9 month of age for about 14 days

later on he had he´s "Ghoste age" at 12-13 month of age...

Nothing at all around 8,9 or 10 weeks...

I think it depends on the breeder and how she/he treats the dogs and pups. The early pick- up is crucial if the pups stay with their mother in the kennel outside the breeder's home and see humans a couple of times per day. If the mother and pups live at home, spend time with people, see visitors and other animals, etc. and are generally treated as members of family I don't suppose the flight would seriously affect their further development.

Exactly. The problem is not on puppy side, but on the human. Puppy may be intensively socialisated. If breeder have 6 puppies is practically not possible to socialisated each individually. So that now is most important, how seriously and quality breeder you choice.

I got my puppy in late February after my puppy was stuck half way in NYC in a blizzard on her way to Denver, CO. I thought she would be traumatized and messed up after all that time in a little kennel, but she was just fine and there is no indication months later that her trip here affected her. I got her at 8 weeks- and now she is 16 weeks. She is the least shy Vlcak you'll probably ever meet- not afraid of a thing/confident and very happy-go-lucky.
