Rescue breed question (white tipped tail)
Hello folks,
I rescued by dog about a year ago and have been plagued by friends and people at the dog park as to what breed he was and , though dna tested (inconclusive), i don't have anything to tell them. He seems to match most of the characteristics of the CwD except for the white tipped tail. Is that something seen in the breed or could he be a CwD bred with a husky or something? These are the best pictures i had available but they are of him at 3.5mo. Thanks for any input |

He looks like a purebred Husky, I can´t see any signs of a CSW.
You can´t find out a dogbreed by DNA by the way, only what breed isn´t in it if you are very lucky. Enjoy your beautiful dog, it doesn´t really matter, does it? Regards Ina |

I see you are from the US. We have veeery few dogs in the United States. There is virtually no chance that your dog is a CSV cross. I would definitely go with a husky (mix). Beautiful dog! What a lucky find! Enjoy him!
