"Sudden deafness" & biting hands

And then there's the teeth. She's been changing teeth for a while now, so
she bites (but does not destroy!) in everything she can, especially human
hands, even though she is corrected. what to do?

I yell as if I am hurt & then give my pups a frozen wash cloth
I also "shame" them & put them in their crate, or the other room to be alone
for a little while, this alone sometimes works very nicely

If you choose to give a correction, but don't do it "firmly" enough, they
might think you are playing & just bite harder!!!
