predefinito Puppies - white, red or black haired dogs

After reading about Saarloos and Czescoslovakian wolfdogs I found out
that there were in the past some try-outs in breedings to have completely
white or black haired dogs.Do you think it is still possible to find a white
or a black Czechs?

CsW newer been one-coloured. So that is the simply answer - NO. Is a simple
reason, white or black dog cant have a mask and missing mask is by bonitation
P14-disqualification.

There have been white saarloos wolfdog's.
The same gen that was responsible for the white GSD was responsible for a
white coulerd SWH.
During the time that L. Saarloos started the breed in 1935 there still were
more white GSD in Europe.
The Dutch Association of Saarlooswolfdogs decided to elimate the white
Saarloos wolfdog for further breeding.
In there book about the swh they mention something about health problems
witch seems redicules to me.
Anyway, the last white saarloos died a few years ago

The white GSD "being in poor health" is a myth and was used as an
excuse/reason to eliminate the color(make it a fault) from the breed
standard of the GSD in US at least.
IMHO, they did the same in Europe, and exactly the same not so many years
ago they did it
again with the white saarloos wolfdog,an vague reason of health problems!!!!

what do you mean with red haired?
There are wolfdogs that show more brown colours but they all should have wolfcolour. European, not Red wolf of course .
In Sarloos wolfdogs you find red ones.

All Czechoslovakian wolfdogs are "wolfgray" color. That is the only standard color. Some of them might be a bit more grayish, some a bit more reddish, but it is always wolfgray color, with white mask and black tip of tail. Any other colors are fault (and any other colors in fact do not appear). And, the color of CSW slightly varies everytime the dog changes the coat - at spring and in autumn.

Red haired CSW´s do not exist. If you want red haired dog, get Golden retriever.

And somehow, I think you should know that the color is the last important thing at CSW. Character and health are the most important.

Thank you very much for your answers of course you can anderstand that I only asked what I couldn't find in the sites informations.
I didn't meen all red I saw a wolfdog in Prague that was redish as you say and I thought I sould ask.
Of course the health and the caracter are most important as I think important is to find the dogs doctor before persuing the dog and ask him all that you need to know.

We have sometimes more red puppies. I like them . You are right, some families are more red. Don´t see to fotos of puppies. I have two redish wolfdogs, but on the fotos they are "normal". Hanka
