Result: genotype DM/DM
Interpretation: The analysed dog is homozygous for the mutation in
the SOD1-gene that has been suggested to be a major risk factor for
the development of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM).
Affected dogs may develop clinical signs of DM.

The mutation will be passed on to the offspring with a probability
of 100%. The currently known mutation has been analysed.
The result is only valid for the submitted sample.
