Cute video!
Do I spy a malinois in there? At 2:00 - is that the notorious Vlcak-alligator hybrid?

That's such a great video. They look like they're having a great time, though I can't say I envy you for having to clean them after, that water looks pretty muddy!

This is the proof !
Ok, now we have seen the proof here - obviously Karel Hartl originally did not make a cross-breed with wolf but indeed with wild boar !
(By the way: It seems to me that most Csv have such behaviour - as can be seen here in the photos of my "Zeus Lupus Ibericus" in Gallery of wd.org.) Greetings , Silvester |

Muddy vlcaks
Luna and Pollux get incredibly muddy, too. Interestingly, though, I only rarely have to bathe them... it seems that they are "dirt-proof"... when the mud dries is flakes off completely and they are just as clean as before.
The only time I have to wash is when they roll around in the iron-rich mud in the obedience arena where I teach classes... the iron seems to stain the white undercoat - one day they got so red-orange I joked that they were trying to pretend they were Malinois! Of course, the joke was on me, having to bathe the two of them... |

Good video, especially of them having much fun in the muddy water.
Actually, as Lunas mum said, wolfdog coat is quite mud-proof. But it keeps the scents, so sometime you have a nice and clean wolfdog which stinks like hell .
