Hi Ray,

When you sent the picture to [email protected] , Margo will take care it will be add

In my life I had several dogs (of different breeds, with bad circumstances in their first year), that I had to re-socialise before they could go to a new home. And with the most of them it did work out very well

My first step was to give them "trust" in human and in the mean time I did show them I was the alpha (without pressure) in my behaviour (this also gives them rest and trust). And later on I did work out (step by step) the obedience.

You have a very young dog, so you can have a lot of hope that everything is going all right in time.

But be patient , don't force things, be clear in your behaviour (be the alpha from the start), "read" the reaction of your dog by every new step, and don't give to much pressure.

I wish you good luck and a happy life time with your new dog!

greetings,
Mijke
