Hello
 Our girls don't stay long as I don't work now, but if it's needed they can even 10 hours. We taught tchem step by step with the crate, because if they could destroy anything even once, they would do this again and again... if they don't have possibility to eat anything at home for the first year or 1,5, they won't do this in future Good luck and be patient
