Yes the cost of breeding is high and therefore the puppy prices is high to. But I think that you are wonder way it is higher than on udder big dog breeds like German Shepherd for example? At first Cz Wolfdogs are more demanding and take more space and time than udder dog breeds, Most of the breeders also have to import there puppy’s which is expensive to. If you are a serious breeder you also wont that a CsV judge gives it good result and not just a judge that newer saw one, which means that most breeders have to go abroad. The high prices also make people to think twice before thy decide to buy one and help keep unserious buyers away. Which is very important sense the CsV is not an easy breed. And if a CsV do something bad the press blames the breed instead of the owners, which is the opposite from udder dog breeds. The CsV are already banned in some countries and we can not afford something like that. In the US where the price on American Wolfdogs are very low more than 60% of the puppy’s are sent back to it’s breeder or to a Wolfdog rescue centre, but the rescue centre are over filled and thy have to putt menu wolfdogs to sleep. And Ferena do you relay think that all CsV females get 10 puppy’s ? some time thy only get 4 or 5 but the work the breeder has put down for 3-5 years before the first litter is born are still the same. Very Best Regards / Mikeal |
