Never Ending Trail

Thought I heard a wolf last night, howling out in the woods.
Thought it was you to call on me.
Prompting me to come with you, to further walk our trail,
Just as we did so many years.

I was blessed to be with you, blessed to be your friend.
With all your love and faith in me.
Full of pride for you my dude, I savoured any inch
Of our never ending trail.

Times of laughter, times of tears, times of joy and times of fears,
We’ve been always side by side.
Nothing ever kept us from to further walk along

Stormy nights and rainy days, summer heat and winter cold,
Plains we crossed and peaks we climbed.

Mother nature was with us.

Our home was just our base camp to rest our tired bones.

To all our countless breakouts to breathe free and walk alone
