Lightbulb Centuś Galicyjski Wilk needs new home

I'm putting this thread on behalf of Magda, Centuś' breeder who is at present at the camp in Hrabušice.

Centuś is a one year old male coming from an interesting litter of Intifada Malý Bysterec and Brest z Deštné hory. He comes from a solid and caring kennel, was born and raised at home and received very good early socialisation. His mother Inti, is one of the hugliest vlcaks I've ever met - just loves all people!

Centuś is friendly, non-agressive, his cautious behaviour is nothing that cannot be worked out; he only needs some more exposure to new situations - the breeder says he responds very well to positive training and slowly, but with no special problem approaches new people with tasty treats . Here are two older photos of him, though none of them really good:

The breeder is urgently looking for a new home for Centuś, where he will be loved and accepted. At the moment Centuś is at the camp in Hrabušice in Slovakia, later will be taken to Krakow. He can be collected from either location or send to his new home provided the potential owner manages to convince Magda, she could trust him/her.

The breeder would like to spare Centuś confusion caused by several home changes, so if anybody is seriously interested in the dog, please contact Magda of Galicyjski Wilk asap at the address [email protected]

Wish him to find the best home. What happened to previous owners? Not ready for a wolfdog?

I don't know the details and I suppose it isn't the most important issue now.

Centuś seems to be a fan of agility. Here are some photos from his first 'trial session' at Hrabušice: http://www.galicyjski.wilk.wolfdog.o...licyjski+Wilk/

More information about Centuś:
He’s in his foster home at present and is doing very well. It seems he just hadn’t met the owners' expectations and for some practical reasons (not to be discussed publicly) the breeder took over the task of finding him a new home...

Centuś is rather short - 63 cm; he'll grow a bit more, though obviously there is no guarantee that he’ll rich the minimum standard height. It seems the size is his only fault, because his head is beautiful, he has very good coat, clear eyes and really sweet character. He appears eager to built a relationship with a human and is happy in his foster home. He also catches up quickly with socialisation and shows his happy, smiling face to everybody. When taken for walks in the streets he withdraws in the first moment, but soon moves forward to test “the new”. He is now with a dog trainer who owns a CSV, and she says Centuś learns new things and gets accustomed to new situations very quickly.

Centuś might be a great companion for somebody who wants a pet or a sports dog, but it’s not improbable that in the future he might also be used as stud (provided his HD/ED results are fine and he gets breeding rights) for particularly big females.

Today Centuś is one year old! I wish him and his sisters Happy Birthday and to Centuś additionally the best forever home he so much deserves!
