Hello everyone!
We’re new members to wolfdog.org but we’ve been reading the forum and visiting the site for a few months now. We’re looking to get a female puppy from an early spring 2012 and thus looking for good breeders that wish to improve the breed and help develop sound lines in the United States. I have been cautioned against posting a “resume” on the forum and will take that expert advice. We have a lot to offer and would like to get in contact with breeders that are comfortable with sending dogs overseas. Most of the threads I’ve found on the site are geared towards people that already own and or breed CSW’s so I’m hesitant to post anything on active threads. We do not have a CSW just yet but we’re experienced with dominant breeds. We have a husky/collie mix named Ryebread; he’s the center of our lives and cannot wait to expand our family.

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Of course the general advice is to meet some dogs in person, talk with many breeders not just about their dogs or puppies you'd like but rather just in general information, and spend a lot of time combing through old threads. Perhaps plan a trip to Europe to take a look, hopefully meet lots of dogs that way, visit the breeder you're interested in. A bit of a downer, but things are not always how it appears re breeders and dogs on the forum.. As always one must spend considerable time digging around to get a better picture. As you seem to be in a bit of a rush to get a dog, I'd recommend speaking to domestic breeders for their advice too. Best regards Jing |
