Photos in gallery
 

Hi,

I have addet about 34 photos of European wolves from Copenhagen Zoo some time before christmas, but non of them is at the gallery :(

Some time after christmas I addet 3 photos of my youngest dog(Xtreme z Molu Es) and 1 of the photos is now at the main page of Xtreme :)

What happened to the rest of the photos(all photos is very nice and in good quality) ? ...I have addet the photos of the wolves on the page for wolves - Copenhagen Zoo in the gallery and the photos of Xtreme I addet on the page for Xtreme.

I made this thread to find out if the photos got lost and I have to upload them again ? or if there is some specific order in which photos will be uploaded ?

Hi Rolf,

I think they have to be authorised by hand (by Margo or another moderator?). Maybe because of the christmas season this may take a few days.

I also did send about 20 photos of my trekking holiday 3 munth ago,
but non of them is added, am I to send them again ???

I know only this be problem with galery program, and please all a little wait, I think we mas this make ;-) and latter Margo say who mas doing.

It is not that I am impaitent, I just wondered why photos I uploaded later was public before the first photos I uploaded ?
Also I wonder why only 1 photo out of 3 photos(which was uploaded in same time) was public and not all 3 photos in same time ? :)

if it was aproblem in the program, so maybe only one photo of these 3 was received.

that is possible ? and maybe none of the 34 photos of wolves was received too ?
well this is why I made this thread, to find out if I have to upload the photos again ? ;-) maybe you as moderator can tell me if the photos is in the database or I have to upload all of them again ? :)

The moderators don't work with the photos, only the admins.
You said that all photos had quality and are nice, I'm sure if they received it they will add at gallery soon as possible, commonly at the same time they add the one of Xtreme. So I only can think that they don't receive it, the best will be you try send it again. 8)

It seems like all my photos now is uploaded succesfully :)

Sometimes it takes few days before the photos appear in the gallery. But (almost) all are added - we remove only photos which are too small or have bad quality.

Sometimes photos are added not to the gallery of the specific dog but to the gallery "Dog shows" or "Training". At the moment you can not see such photos when you look on the photos using the link from the database card but it will be changed later...

BUT....


..there was a problem with the script and we it removed all photos which you added from 01.01.2009-03.01.2009. If someone of you uploaded photos but the photos are still not in the gallery please add them again...

I found a misplaced photo of my dog Uno z Molu Es
It is currently in the gallery/training/DK/2007/Ølstykke
But it should be in gallery/training/DK/2007.4.10/Bellahøj

Now I must ask here in public, since I don`t get an answer by PM(even that moderator started to write me by PM).

Why are all my recent photos now in gallery/meetings/2008/Jetrichovice ?
I specificly asked moderator to add all the photos in gallery/training/2008/ 9.8.2008 Jetrichovice :roll:

I was told that photos taken on a summercamp can not be addet in category "training" ? ...MANY photos in category "training" is taken on summercamp, here is just 2 examples :

...So why can these photos be in category "training" and mine not ???

As I also wrote by PM, I have a lot of photos from summercamps who have nothing to do with training, if you like I can add some in category "meetings".

When I add more than 2 photos in same time, I don`t get the option "submit describtion", so I always add the names of the dogs as the original text of the photo(and until now the names have always been addet), so I have not submitted any names of any dogs of the photos in question, but I have addet them as the original name of each photo, still only half of the names of the dogs on the photos have been addet, who now wrongly are in category "meetings" ? ...why not all of them ???

If I don`t express me self clear enough, please ask me :)

Are you sure these photos are of training?
because by the description, seems they're from SVP1-2 and ZOP exams that was made during the summer camp.
Looking at the gallery, the category Sport is empty, so it seems that the photos of Sport was mixed with the ones of the category Training.
Tough I never seen photos of training at summer camp in category training, they're commonly all togheter at the "meeting - summer camp XXX" like this one that you can find dogs training bite also.
Actually at training category I can find photos like that , puppy classes and Hoky's memorial that seems to be really training as SVP and OB, that is a real test, not training and in my sight must be in Sport category, not training.
So, seems that something is wrong with the gallery.

This is exactly my point ;-) ....many photos in category "training" really don`t belong in this category.

Clearly ALL my photos is from training, not from exam or just having fun, but training.

As far I get informed admin explained it to you already two times so maybe I will do this now here... :p Please correct me if I get something wrong. :rock_3

You added some photos to the MAIN category in "Training" where is is not allowed to place any photos. By mistake they were added but after the mistake was discovered you were asked about the even where the photos has been taken. You answered it was a summer camp and the photos were moved to the RIGHT category.

I hope you understand why your photos can not appear in the MAIN category. There are MANY people who train with their dogs and if everyone would like to have his photos in the main category I will say after few days we will have hundreds of photos there and nobody will be able to open it... :rock_3

What belongs to "TRAINING". In this category we put photos taken during EXAMS (two of the first links you listed), COMPETITIONS (third link) and during training COURSES (puppy classes, training seminars, aso).

Summer camps are special case - we train there, we play there, we go for walks and make excursions. Training is only a PART of summer camp. Because of is since beginning (already for 10 years) such photos are added to the suitable category in MEETINGS. As you can see there was already for longer time also the category for summer camp in Jetrichovice.
Why we can not make second category for Jetrichivice in 'Training'? Because we do not make DOUBLE categories for one and the same event event. If you do not believe just check the categories of all other summer camps (Lazne Belohrad, Jevisovice, Zorovnice, Slovakia).

So it is for sure NOTHING against YOU as you want to show it but about the rules which we all follow for a long time...
Does it really make your dogs "worser" if their photos are placed in "Meetings" and not in "Trainig"? :shock:8);-) (sorry but I can not understand what is the problem with it :rock_3)

I did not ask you to move the photos to category meetings, but to move them to catgory training or delete them.

I have many times addet photos in main gallery, because there were no correct place for my photos due to no category with correct name, date and place, so I add the information as name of the photo, which is needed for uploading the photos in correct category and it is usually no problem...

as I want to show it ??? I just want some answers, that`s all !!!
Well many of the photos is really not my dogs and they are what they are does`nt matter photos or not, the problem is that I get no complete answer why my photos can not be in category training, are you sure that my photos is not from course of training in Jetrichovice ? or are you just guessing ? ....what exactly does it take to be a course in your opinion ?

No, you don't understand me.... ;-) Photos taken on the summer camps go to the category "Meetings". ALL of them. Taken during training, drinking or going for a walk... Photos of people and playing dogs.
The ONLY exception are photos taken during the EXAMS. And I'm 100% sure photos added by you do not belong to this category - they do not show any exams.... :p Because of it I can not post them in the category "Training"....

....maybe I am stupid, but I really don`t see a meaningful difference ?
Because at summercamp is a trainer and a figurant, which I pay for helping training my dogs(or correcting my training with the dogs), just like training course back here in Denmark, but photos from training course here in Denmark is okey for category training, but photos from training course at summercamp is not ?
