I think anti-rabies regulations are too rigorous. UK is the extreme but the other EU countries have tight rules also. Basically anyone who wants to import a puppy with a decent age for a good socialization has to overcome several osbtacles.
I'm in this situation now... maybe I'll have to do thousands of kms just to bring my puppy from an EU country to another...
